Over the years the World Wrestling Federation, now WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) has provided us with some great superstar characters. While many people may disagree with these characters they are what makes the pro wrestling sport so fun and give it a cult following like none other! Below you'll find some of the coolest characters that have ever been a part of WWE!

Bastion Booger
Bastion Booger (also Friar Ferguson)

Real Name: Mike Shaw
DOB: May 9, 1957
Birthplace: Skandia, Michigan
Height: 6'1
Weight: 360lbs
Manager: N/A

Booger had a short lived career in the WWF. He enjoyed eating, eating, and picking his nose. He loved food. Ok WWF we get it, but isnt this the storyline of all 300 plus pounders in the WWF? He also had a very short stint as Friar Ferguson, several weeks after his Booger gimmick ended, but neither really caught on in the WWF/WWE.

The Berzerker
The Berzerker

Real Name: John Nord
DOB: October 18, 1959
Birthplace: Bozeman, Montana
Height: 6 '6"
Weight: 323 lbs
Manager: Mr. Fuji

Managed by the legendary WWE Hall of Famer, Mr. Fuji, the Berzerker originally entered WWF as "The Vikinig". With his constant "Huss, Huss" chants, he would do just as his name depicts, and go berzerk on his opponents in the ring. Problem was, he never really pinned his opponents, just tossed them out of the ring and left them unconscious, winning many a match by countout. He had a Survivor Series 4 vs 4 match and then a brief feud with Undertaker before leaving the WWF for good.

The Boogeyman
The Boogeyman

Real Name: Marty Wright
DOB: October 31, 1964
Birthplace: Mystic, CT
Height: 6'2
Weight: 265 lbs
Manager: N/A

Boogeyman is one enigmatic & scary dude. He is a freak straight out of a horror movie. With his tagline of "I'm the Boogeyman and I'm comin to getcha!" he carries a magical shaman stick (in tradition of Papa Shango) and smashes a clock over his head. He uses handfuls of worms to either stuff down his opponents mouths, pants or eat himself. This guys straight crazy! Recently, he has been seen ringside with his protege, Little Boogey, a mini-version of himself.

Doink The Clown
Doink the Clown

Real Name: Matt Borne (original Doink)
(succeeded by Dusty Wolfe, Steve Lombardi, Ray Apollo)
Info for Matt Borne:
DOB: July 27, 1957
Birthplace: Elwood City, PA
Height: 6'1
Weight: 240 lbs
Manager: N/A

Always clowning around and looking to amuse the fans. He would bring buckets down to the ring full of water or confetti to trick wrestlers. Had a cool Survivor Series match with 3 other guys dressed as Doink. Used to have beef with Bret Hart and the other Hart's as well as with Crush. Doink made a brief comeback recently on RAW to lose to Rob Conway.

Real Name: David Heath
DOB: February 16, 1969
Birthplace: Tampa, Florida
Height: 6'0,
Weight: 254 lbs
Manager: N/A

Another dude straight out of a horror film. He was a vampire and proud of it. Edge and Christian used to be vampires too, and they all would rise up from the floor in smoke and fire. They formed a trio of vampires known as "The Brood". Gangrel would strut down to the ring with a wicked smile on his face and trademark sunglasses. Then ceremoniously, he would take a drink from his pimp/vampire cup of blood. Too cool, but where did he go? Maybe he met with Blade somewhere along the line.
